25 years in business

25 years in business

After spending some time in research and education at the department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Bonn, I built up some process, IT and change management compentencies as a consultant at Accenture while implementing projects in various industries.

During more than 20 years with DHL, I had the chance to support top executives in their professional development for a decade, designing and implementing leadership programs, coaching and development measures for high potentials and specific target groups like females.

As a seasoned HR manager, I cover all skills and functional areas of the employee life cycle.

15 years of leadership

Early in my career, I assumed first management responsibilities in project management and team lead roles.

Later as executive, I led teams of 6 and up to 22 employees and was responsible for significant budgets as well as some corporate deliverables.

As managing director of a corporate company, I had the responsibilty to steer and monitor annual processes. I also cooperated with national and international social partners.

  • team lead, project lead and head of department
  • leadership spans of 6 to > 20 direct reports
  • 13 years as executive
  • 5 years as managing director

Work and family

Being married and mother of three children, I am familiar with the constant juggling of responsibilities in different sectors of work and life – if you want to have both.

Then I focused on individual development of others as my main purpose and profession

In the second half of my career, I am generating value for my customers by using my core strengths:
listening, asking questions, triggering development.

I consciously use my knowledge, my competencies and long years of experience to focus my attention on a personal challenge or situation, to support individuals in making choices, solving dilemmas or coping with stress, conflict or change.
